This page explains what information reaches My Realtor in New Zealand when you browse the site, create an account, or interact with our pages, why we use it, who helps us operate the service, and the choices available to you. It applies only to myrealtor.nz.
Information we receive
When you visit the site, our hosting environment and content delivery network automatically record technical details sent by your browser. These server logs typically include your IP address, the pages you request, the date and time of your request, your user agent (browser and device information), and the referring page if provided.
We use an analytics tool to understand how visitors use the site. This analytics service receives similar information to server logs, such as IP address, device and browser type, referrer, approximate location derived from IP, and page interactions. We review aggregated reports to measure reach and improve navigation.
Account registration is open. If you create an account on myrealtor.nz, you provide us with a username, a display name, and an email address. You also set a password. Passwords are stored in hashed form and are not visible to us. You may add optional profile details, which will be processed and displayed according to how you configure your profile settings.
